Milan's ones to watch!

Fashion capital Milan, is boasting huge new talent in the fashion industry. I always enjoy seeing up and coming designers and what they have to offer, particularly from other countries. Here are my designers to watch!

First is Stella Jean, the thirty-four year old mum of two is already causing somewhat of a buzz on the fashion scene. Not only did she win Vogue Italia's 'Who Is On Next' talent contest in 2011,She was invited by Giorgio Armani to show her first collection in his own show space, The Armani Teatro.
Stella Jean is stocked on matchesfashion.com and her have dresses sold out almost immediately for the last two seasons. She was born in Rome, with Haitian heritage and her garments have strong ethnic inspired prints, and vivid colours. She has already turned heads and is definitely one to keep your eyes on!

Second is Marco De Vincenzo, who has been noticed by LVMH and is said to be on their to-buy list! The Sicilian designer had one of the most talked about collection in Milan this season. Vincenzo has also won Vogue Italia's 'Who Is On Next' contest and has established his look, and his penchant for combining sophisticated garments with texture. He does a lot of experimentation with fabrics, yet his collections are very wearable. Is he the next big star out of Italy?!

The last big name to watch is MSGM. Created by Massimo Giorgetti in 2009, the brand is stocked in Matches and is already a big name in retail, holding their debut runway show this season in Milan. MSGM and Massimo Giorgetti are celebrated as one of the best revelation of the year 2010 by Vogue Italia's 'Who Is On Next' contest. I love the mix of relaxed, Hawaiian florals and formal shirts in the S/S 14 collection.
